Your mission
The Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) will be responsible for coordinating multiple research projects and applying for new research tenders. In addition, she/he will actively interact and collaborate with product development and technology of the company.
Project Leadership:- Spearhead research projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives and are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Research & Development:- Drive the exploration of new technologies, methodologies, and best practices in the realm of Decentralized Identity and Product Pass. This includes conducting competitive analysis, feasibility studies, and prototype development.
Stakeholder Engagement:- Act as the primary liaison between the project team, internal stakeholders, and external partners. This involves regular reporting on project status, findings, and strategic recommendations.
Documentation & Compliance- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and maintained. Adhere to legal, regulatory, and technical standards relevant to the german or european requirements for research projects.
Your profile
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) to support our research and development initiatives for our decentralized digital identity solutions. The role will primarily focus on coordinating and managing upcoming research projects in the area of decentralized identity & digital product passports. As an integral part of our research and development team, this pivotal role requires a structured thinker with a proven history of managing technical research projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep tech knowledge, expertise in applying for research tenders as well as the following:
- 3+ years experience in software projects and in participating in technical research projects in Germany or Europe
- Proven track record in leading research projects in a technology enterprise business or research institution
- Flexibility to identify and develop new product proposition in adjacent domains (Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy, Financial Services, Retail)
- Expert in preparing technical documentations and presentations (Word, PPT & Project management tools)
- Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools
- Demonstrated compatibility with the organization’s culture and values, size and founder driven start-up phase

And then, there's Michael – the CFO and COO, an expert in IT and innovation. With two successful ventures under his belt and a journey through RWE, SMS Demag, ThyssenKrupp, and the Fraunhofer Institute, Michael is an experienced strategist. His diverse technological expertise across industries brings a distinctive touch to the Spherity team.
Spherity as of now employs ~25 people with diverse cultural backgrounds. The company has its roots in Berlin and Dortmund. Our employees actively contribute to our objectives, hailing not only from Germany but also from various countries within and outside the EU. Sales & Marketing including Customer Success & Service operations are currently driven by a total of 7 employees.
